New partner to work on 14-hectare investment in downtown Gdynia

SEMEKO Grupa Inwestycyjna S.A. has been chosen as a partner for the land development project in the central Gdynia area commonly referred to as “Międzytorze.”

The area is considered to contain one of the most attractive land parcels in the Tri-city region (Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot). It borders the railway station and is located just about a kilometer away from Plac Kaszubski, the City’s central point. A similar distance needs to be traveled to get to Skwer Kościuszki.

The project involves comprehensive modernization of Międzytorze. Its area of over 14 hectares will mostly host residential buildings, with complementary services offered by retail, office and hotel developments. The whole complex is supposed to seamlessly fit into the urban fabric of Śródmieście district, becoming an important element of the city center.

The investment is divided into a number of stages and will span up to 2026. The construction works should commence on 2017.

The estimated project value is 722 mln euro. Gross residential and leaseable area can reach up to 345,000 m2.
